2008 Rays of Light in the Darkness Dinner Videos
United States Capitol, June 18, 2008
| On June 18 hundreds of people packed the Rayburn House Caucus room to congratulate courageous individuals who received EMET’s second annual “Speaker of the Truth” Awards. All of the recipients are people who have risked everything to speak out about the darkness of radical Islam, supporting the forces of democracy and respect for human rights in Arab countries. All three of the Muslim-Americans can be seen here, along with syndicated columnist Cal Thomas. One of the award winners, Wafa Sultan, is in hiding due to hundreds of death threats. She came out to accept her award. Their comments are riveting and truly inspiring. |
